Just released an update to bump up the resolution of thumbnails. Looks quite a bit better. In general though, just be cautious that no matter the resolution images with super thin lines can get a bit distorted when scaled down.

Strange, could you send a screenshot? I do resize the thumbnails to a fixed resolution, but it's the same as YouTube so it should be just as sharp.
